As I grow older, I realize my deep appreciation for the past — history tied to style and tradition. I gravitate toward old records, vintage clothing, and things & experiences that provide a sense of nostalgia.

Moving into my own home, I decided to get a pool table. This seemingly simple purchase turned into a Time Machine of sorts launching me back to days playing pool in cool, dark basements and roadhouse-esque bars.

Our new pool table sat in the middle of the room in our empty basement, and the more I played the more sparks of creativity came to me. Eventually the space surrounding the table became a curation of my personal style, musical preferences, and ultimately the birth of the Straight Shooters brand.

Billiards has historically transitioned from an elitist activity, being played by royalty, to a game associated with smoky dive bars and questionable ethics. Straight Shooters represents a rejection of all stereotypes & encourages freedom of expression.

Pool requires a balance of finesse and precision, a combination of strategy and confidence. Straight Shooters embodies that dynamic nature. You can have swagger and morals. You can be rough around the edges and soft on the inside. Your past doesn’t dictate your now, and you can always redefine how you present yourself.
